Six house sized balloons of CO² float off into the atmosphere every year over the life of our average houses.

The average Australian home produces approximately 6 tonnes of carbon dioxide every year for the life of the house

If you took all the air out of the average australian home over 200 square metres with 2.7m ceiling heights and you put in carbon dioxide that new home would hold one tonne of carbon dioxide at sea level.

Effectively each home is putting out six house sized balloons that float off into the atmosphere every year for the life of the house.

And every house you see is doing the same.
